Submarine is committed to exploring new and dynamic forms of storytelling, using hybrid animation in innovative ways to stretch the form of scripted and unscripted narratives, ranging from rotoscope to ‘virtual production.’ Pioneering techniques and approaches to content creation is an ethos which runs across all of the studio’s output. Recent highlights include the second season of the acclaimed series Undone, produced for Amazon Prime; Oscar-nominated director Richard Linklater’s film Apollo 10½ for Netflix; and international co-production Last Hijack.
