For the song “When I am King” by Dutch singer-songwriter Tim Knol, director Sverre Fredriksen made a visually spell-binding music video using a unique approach that combines pyrography with stop motion animation. The viewer enters a mysterious fantasy world where a sprightly young man explores an ancient forest, discovering a city in ruins. He takes it upon himself to single-handedly rebuild the city from scratch – making some haunting friends along the way.
