Empty Seas tells the true story of a charismatic young man using unconventional means to protect the big seas. It’s the story of how a group of vigilantes stand up against one of the most lucrative criminal activities in the world, illegal fishing. The film is a covert mission and real life thriller making use of an eclectic mix of raw footage filmed underwater, aerial photography and during covert operations on land.
