Democracy (Dutch title: In democratisch overleg) follows five opposing protagonists on the Brussels political stage involved in the creation of a piece of EU legislation, all the way to the showdown in the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament. A creative and suspenseful documentary which tangibly brings to light the Kafkaesque landscape of Europe’s architecture of power.
