Synopsis Credits Details
Trailer

The Art of Pho is an interactive motion comic produced by Submarine Channel based on the debut graphic novel by the award-winning British illustrator and animator Julian Hanshaw (Random House, 2011). The Art of Pho’s main character is a loveable creature named Little Blue. Through an extraordinary sequence of events, Little Blue ends up in Vietnam’s bustling capital of Ho Chi Minh City, where he learns to master the Art of making Pho (Ph?) ? Vietnam?s ubiquitous noodle soup. The people that he meets and the adventures that ensue set him on a marvelous path of self-discovery. Julian Hanshaw won the Cape/Observer Graphic Short Story of 2008. The Art of Pho is his highly anticipated debut graphic novel. Under his creative supervision and with animation director Lois van Baarle, Submarine Channel re-created The Art of Pho for the web. The interactive graphic novel adds the dimensions of sound, music, animation and interactivity to Hanshaw’s exquisitely drawn artwork.
