ALLES MOET BETER

ALLES MOET BETER follows three young people diversely impacted by worsening institutional failure, and their search to change things for the better.

There is Sam (27), a former civil servant, on trial for civil disobedience during climate actions. Also Rohan (23), fighting an endless battle for appropriate support as a victim of the Dutch childcare benefit scandal, but is endlessly getting the runaround. And thirdly, Ruben (25), has been waiting a year for his trial to end after, as a committee member for the Dutch Labour Party in Dordrecht, having leaked information about a potential deal with toxin-emitting company Chemours. All three become entangled in the system.

Accompanied by protest music by, amongst others, Dutch bands Hang Youth, Ploegendienst, Sef and Sophie Straat, their individual actions, from protest to politics, combine in one urgent plea: Do better!
