Submarine’s ‘Fox and Hare’ wins Cinekid’s National Audience Award!

AMSTERDAM, October 30^th, 2019 – CINEKID’s jury and audience awards were presented during the Cinekids Festival on Friday, October 25^th. Submarine’s Animation FOX AND HARE was awarded the ‘Cinekids National Audience Award, age 4-6’.

FOX AND HARE, directed by Mascha Halberstad and Tom van Gestel, is a humorous and imaginative animation series about a surprising mix of animals living together in a forest. All the storylines revolve around Fox, a good-humoured extra-large sized fox, and Hare, a sensitive friendly hare, and their forest friends.

During their daily activities they experience funny, scary, crazy, challenging and exciting moments. Through friendship and imagination, they answer questions and solve their daily problems in an original and creative way. FOX AND HARE was produced by Submarine (Netherlands), Walking the Dog (Belgium) and JEP Animation (Germany). The animation series is based on the 15-volumes book series written by Sylvia Vanden Heede and illustrated by Thé Tjong-Khing. Submarine is currently developing a feature animation film of Fox and Hare.
