Submarine’s ‘Bellingcat’ wins the RTBF Award at the festival des Liberétes 2019

The Belgium public broadcaster RTBF (RadioTélévision Belge Francophone) announced that the documentary Bellingcat – Truth in a Post-Truth World won the RTBF-award at the festival des Liberétes 2019. The documentary is a Submarine production in co-production with VPRO and is directed by Hans Pool.

The RTBF jury commented: “Bellingcat: Truth in a Post-Truth World is an enlightening and timely documentary. In a time when the question of fake news is often and forcefully raised, this platform of citizen investigative journalism allows us to believe in our values of democracy and truth.”
